  1. He was leader of BLA and this the organization claimed credit for a series of bomb attacks in markets and railways lines, on police and army check posts.he was once elected parliment but resigned in protest which was wrong attitude .
H belong to one of richest tribes of Baluchistan but he didnt provide any kind of development to his poor people but not doubt instigate them against Pak army and federation.Marri group and army are is war of controlling Baluchistan matter not for giving benefit ot people but want to keep power and money steering in their control.

  2. his popular quote is
“If grievances have come to this level? that we do not mind if Pakistan disintegrates? then things are bad.”
if grievance is replaced by word “greed “then it suit him more and more effective.

  3. Nazia ji
He was not only leader of the BLA , but he represented feelings of Baloch Nation.
He claimed the series of Bomb Attacks an railway tracks and markets : Yeah he did , because this railway track is gift of an oppressor The Britishers to another oppressor The Pakistan. Britishers brought railway to maneuver their troops comfortably across the Baloch country , and Pakistan Army is doing the same , to destroy tools and infrastructure of oppressor is well justified.
Its not war of marri group and army , it is the war of Baloch Nation and Army , Dr. Allah Nazar is not a Marri , army knows the fact well , in 180 dumped bodies of last two months there were only three of Marri tribe , all the others belonged to well educated , non tribal ballet of Makran.
He was an elected Parliamentarian and he joined the revolt because he came to know well that parliament serves nothing but to endorse the oppressors policies.
He was rich and did nothing to poor people , one of more highlighted allegation , let me ask one question where was the state to fulfill her duties , to establish schools , universities and medical facilities ? Some one probably say , Nawabs were the hurdles , than nawabs never wanted the presence of army too , how come army established huge installments in these areas?
Madam truth is that Pakistan is resource greedy , and trying an ethnic cleansing and Baloch is resisting to survive.
Popular quote of Shaheed Balach about grievances , is based on when you are left with no choice you do not give a single moment to so called national integrity of a state.

  4. If he was real leader of Baluchistan he would nt have thought of blasting railway lines or gas pipe line as it is used by ordinary people of Baluchistan. what a funny comment your provide here?

Yeah he did , because this railway track is gift of an oppressor The Britishers to another oppressor.
British not only ruled India but many parts of world Australia and common wealth countries are all part of British empires and see now few countries are standing in much superior standard of governance than their oppressors. So fault line is people who wants to feel oppression if railway track provided by British rulers were blown by local sardar.
Yes it is very important that why rich sardars couldn’t give development to their local areas and people.
They are usually rich either by drug, human and arms smuggling or by receiving royalties through federal govt on natural reserves.
When govt creates hurdles for them or reduce share of federal sharing they start warning govt about independent Baluchistan.
So it is fight between two mad elephants and not for cause and problems of local as both rivals are not interested in welfare of poor suppressed balochi nation. In last year target killing of literate migrants show that establishment want to eliminate the literacy rate in Baluchistan which is being run by people of other provinces. They all were well settled there but now running back to their hometowns which they had long time ago.
America ‘s 60%social programs are run by their rich industrialist and influential people but here they live like like vultures of state always wait for opportunity to further snatch the piece of meat from decaying body of country.

  5. His popular quote
when you are left with no choice you do not give a single moment to so called national integrity of a state.

if he was real sardar ,warrior or leader of balcohi nation, then he cant think of any” dead end” or “no choice” condition in his struggle because for real warrior, real leaders they have to stick to their goals until target is not achieved.I think Bengalis have proved to be better nation than balochis and are showing better result of progress after they were discarded by Pakistan political and military people.
Have they got any treasures as possess by these balochi sardars or we find in Baluchistan.

  6. Let me correct the record or just to update you , only 2 % of Balochistan is benefited by the gas and there are only six operational railway stations in entire Balochistan. Railway serves the only cause of oppression and same is the gas as it is financial backbone of same forces.
The point is not the gift of an oppressor but the point is gift of an oppressor to an oppressor , so the benefit again goes to the oppressor unlike those countries you refereed , there general public is main beneficiary.
as for as the royalties of natural resources are concerned , let me clear there is no any single installation of natural resource in marri area than where from so called question of royalty raises? If you ever seen the Kahan and Kohlu ? their terrain ? the very tough terrain and the economic situation of marri society never permits the smallest trade so what a fun about smuggling. Marri area is totally isolated and cut off from whole country so the smuggling for countryside markets is a real joke. For the drugs you may get amused to know that Kohlu and Dera Bugti were only towns where one could never trace a heroin addict , heroin was banned by these Nawabs not the state authorities. Cause blessings of state are seen very clearly on almost every footpath of Lahore even, the city considered heart of state.

Target killings of literate migrants : do you know the punjabi education minister passed orders to evacuate the bolan medical college hostels female wing in a winter midnight ? Do you know the cruel chilling weather of Quetta ? its only one example . Do you know the role of your Dr.Chishti Mujahid spy of ISI in cover of a journalist? Do you know about the role of the Punjabi Pro vice Chancellor of Balochistan University? they were just playing the role of a catalyst in Baloch Genocide.
War of two mad Elephants : I may have got convinced if I were still in Islamabad , but while living in Balochistan cleared my vision . Let the time prove it to you too.
As for as vultures are concerned majority of them is from Punjab than why your patriot forces do not launch a war against them in Lahore? or the punjabi vultures are sacred ?
Madam at last you asked about sticking with goal and aims , let me update you that Balach shaheed was martyred just because of his choice of no return and its not necessary that he should have achieved the goal of liberation in his life.Life is not supposed to be in his own hands.
about the treasure of Baloch Ideology just ask your fores how tough time they are given over here. Though your army is well equipped with training , and modern warfare technologies and far more larger in number .

  7. Baluchistan history of conflict with Pakistan and neighboring countries.

Since the year 1948 Prince Abdul Karim Khan had initiated a separatist movement against the Pakistani government. He conducted guerrilla warfare based in Afghanistan against the Pakistan army.
-In 1969 Nawab Khair Baksh marri appointed an unknown group shero marri to lead like-minded militants in guerrilla warfare by creating their own insurgent bases spread out over 45,000 miles from the Mengal tribal area in the south to the Marri and Bugti tribal areas in the north. Their goal was to force Pakistan to share revenue generated from the Sui gas fields with the tribal leaders. The insurgents bombed railway tracks and ambushed convoys.
-In 1973 Khair Bakhsh Marri formed the Balochistan People’s Liberation Front (BPLF), which led large numbers of Marri and Mengal tribesmen into guerrilla warfare against the central government.
Khair Bakhsh Marri formed People’s Liberation Front, also known as Baluch Awami Azadi Mahaiz or BPLF, was founded in the 1973 and supported by Iraq and the Soviet Union and its aim was the independence of Balochistan.
Jan Muhammad Sarparah was commander of the group and trained the group for many attacks.
    – In 1979, thousands of Balochis were trained in Afghanistan for attacks, while it was under Soviet occupation. BPLF is still active but most of its members are underground. Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine trained some of BPLF men in Beirut. Baluch People’s Liberation Front also received support from the Afghan and Indian authorities.
-In 2001 according to an account carried by the “Newsline”, “hundreds of Marri Baloch tribesmen, armed to the teeth, have taken up position on the Kohlu mountains, one of Pakistan’s most backward, but oil and gas rich areas, to challenge the Government’s policies in Balochistan. The tribesmen, who call themselves “guerillas” waging a war for the rights of the Baloch population, are armed with Russian Kalashnikovs, heavy machine and anti-aircraft guns and RPGs (rocket-propelled grenades), picked up in Afghanistan during their 14 years in self-exile. Most of them are educated with military/guerilla training received in Afghanistan.
Locals in Kohlu claim that there are over 30 to 40 militant camps where Baloch youth have joined the militants to train in guerilla warfare. However, Government agencies put the figure of the camps as little over 15. The first ever visit of a two-member journalist team from Quetta to some of these camps in the mountains revealed that each camp had 300 to 500 recruits. The camps were established in militarily strategic and protected areas, housed in abandoned buildings set up by the Pakistan army during the 1973 operation (against Baloch nationalists). The militants, equipped with modern communication gadgets, apart from physical training, spend their time discussing possible Government military actions, reading newspapers and listening to the BBC every night to keep up with public and political reactions and Government policies. They also visit areas under the influence of opponents and Government forces to spread their message of an armed struggle against Government policies.
During the survey conducted by journalists, it was noted that Balochs were being trained with rocket launchers, RPG–7, mortars, anti-aircraft guns, Kalashnikovs, land mines etc. They were possessing modern wireless sets, walkie-talkies, and satellites sets. They had modern communication sets. For transport, they had motorcycles, pick-ups
In 2005, the Baluch political leaders Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and Mir Balach Marri presented a 15-point agenda to the Pakistan government. Their stated demands included greater control of the province’s resources and a Moratorium on the construction of military bases.

So you can see all were game of grabbing oil and gas fields for which purpose both elephants promoted militarism in local culture..

    • Come on Nazia All you provided is a brief account of Baloch struggle against Pakistani occupation . I think its well justified to fight against the oppressor. Every one got the right of self defense . Who asked the neighboring Pakistan to invade in ?
      Be realistic a little.

  8. You wrongly quoted about killing of BALCH MARRI.

In November 2007, Balach Marri, a key militant separatist leader, was killed in Afghanistan, according to some news reports at the time, due to a NATO air strike that mistook him and his men for Taliban.
On the other hand Pakistani source claimed that Marri had in fact been killed in a suicide attack in Uruzgan. His dead body was brought to the military hospital in Kabul, and later was handed over to his family, and was buried in Balochistan.
According to another report he was killed in an airstrike by NATO forces inside the Afghan territory.

The Baloch nationalist movement is not only one component of the deteriorating internal security situation there but surely are other factors too. Balochistan is Pakistan’s largest province area-wise. Even more than 50 years after Pakistans independence, large parts of the territory remain unopened up, not administered and undeveloped.
    Role of Baloch sardars.

Baloch sardars throughout have legitimate grievances on the question of payment of royalty for the gas taken out of the province.

some Baloch sardars were responsible for continuous confrontation and crisis in Balochistan. It goes without saying that people of Balochistan have the first right over minerals and other natural resources of Balochistan, and major part of the income from these assets should be spent on the welfare of the local Baloch sardars should also be given their share in income if accrues from the land they own. It is unfortunate that some sardars are not willing to accept less than independence, and they openly talk about secession. Akhtar Mengal, Shahzain Bugti and Mir Byar Marri do not hide their ambitions of having an independent Balochistan. So it is natural no state worth its name would turn a blind eye to any efforts aimed at disintegrating the country and hold talks with such elements. Those who insist that the government should have talks with them, they should first ask these leaders to wean off from secessionist tendencies. The question is why sardars do not choose the conciliatory path and always want to behave like problem child ?

    Role of Foreign powers”
In this war like region US, Russia, India and even Iran are either directly or indirectly widening the ethnic and sectarian schisms in Balochistan and FATA.It is strongly quoted by many news groups the US and UK are also supporting the centrifugal forces and insurgents.
Role of Army through military operation and Via ISI tactics.

since 1947 this provicne has faced four insurgencies with internal unrest and military actions. The insurgencies of 1948, 1956, 1973-75 and the present unrest in Marri-Bugti and Mekran areas since 2005 where military operations resulted in huge human and property losses are the ultimate result of many factors.
    The important of them are the lack of power sharing;
    lack of sense of nationalism;
    financial grievances
roman ruler type role of army in politics.
ISI never missed a chance to create cyber war too to impress west

    http://balochistanwatch.blogspot.com/2010/03/isi-led-cyber-war-against-baloch.html

    Conclusion:
If balchis and its sardars are ever going to mature as a free and democratic society, they must be ready and willing to demonstrate at least an unequal boldness as well as courage to curb electoral banditry by fraudulent like politicians.

Military operation in past and in present too increased sense of frustration and alienation which was ultimately responsible for feeling of depressed nationalism amongst Baloch people triggered by its corrupt sardars and parliamentary representatives.
The major factors accountable for the insurgency scenes are
    -the lack of power sharing,
-Baloch nationalism prjoected wrongly in Balch youth,
    – poor and broken federal-province relations,
    -financial grievances.
    – The involvement of the external factor cannot be ruled out as all powers have financial and military interests in this region.

  9. Can`t even laugh over this state backed funny blog post , If you remember the time of Musharaf , PTV presented a clip that people of Dera Bugti are glad by Goverment Action, and what do you observe today ? Your state sponsored intellectuals tried to justify the operation of East Pakistan and what do you see today as out come of that operation? Your state sponsored Televisions role in case of LAL Masjid you may have witnessed and how about the reality today?
Never try to convince any one with bogus and malevolent presentation of facts , especially when one is himself a victim.
Again i will recommend you to visit Balochistan just for fact finding.
This attitude of closing eyes from facts and portraying assumptions can not deny the facts , but weakens your cause of integrity.

  10. It is not for laugh but to review your blunders.A very serious issues.
I haven’t taken a single line from official statements of ISPR or govt press papers but all are from international or unbiased forums.Secondly I have my family circle there who was settled for last 50 years. So whatever they give us information I have put in my mind before compiling these statements.
I would love to visit Baluchistan if there will be peace movement as I wont participate in any kind of terrorism like activity to prove my point of views.
Destroying state assets those are for public use, instigating locals against govt and state instead of taking strong political standing against few chiefs, taking arms against state or trying to kill the forces men who are just obeying orders of seniors are not my goals to express my point of views.
So when ever there is is any peace movement do give me invitation any where in Pakistan and I Would be there

  11. Nazia just match this piece of blog with official statements of ISPR, you will get a surprising resemblance in both.
Just do not forget History is something that even God can not change , so what is the value of a few hypocritical approaches of greedy scholars.
As for as any peace movement is concerned , why do not you take any initiative as a patriot , loyal Pakistani , as you assume that Baloch youth are misguided against your God Gifted country?
I would love to see any such movement if it really works.

  12. The problem is in your side not mine.
I am one of big mouth against all kind of ISPR Statements so is non of my interest to listen their lies.
In swat operation it was people like me who spoke against it the locals whom I met on camps had no grievances against army as they had no political vision what has happened to them. That was the basic reason they were picked for such kind of horrible military exercise which purpose was completely opposite as projected by ISPR.
So I never thought of instigating their sentiment as Ignorance is blessing for them not some kind of bliss as they are groomed under illiterate clerics that all tragedies have come from god’s will.
So it is job of local leadership and intellectuals to develop poltical sense in public and give them idea of civilized protest against state.
These army is not army of aliens but all are locals who design and execute operations on local.Cooperate with them, protest or pressurize them through political pressure is only way to curb the aftereffects of militarism in state or provincial matters
I am here all time acting as peace activist in my living area.
I have already told you that where ever I go I follow that state laws and get my all kinds of rights on basis of my lawful attitude.

    • Well army is not army of aliens ? what is the percentage of Baloch soldiers in Army got any data ? I am not talking of officers as we are supposed to bear the rule of God Fathers.
I think initiating a peace movement is supposed to be a lawful attitude and state laws never prohibit you . What do you mean by ” My area ” , do not you think Balochistan is part of your area as well ? If not than it is direct support of Baloch separatists and your stats laws may suggest you any inhuman punishment for that as it is their style na,

  13. I wish and pray that you recovered rapidly and come to surface to raise your genuine grievances to your army and our system. As I am not clear that on your what kind of response that had made to severe physical attack like that which you trying to clue me but I have already told you that I am familiar to many people who revolted against state but with the passage of time or after punishment they are passing normal and successful live in Pakistan .read the story of Aatish Tasee(illegitimate son of salamn taseer who tells of a journey he went on in search of his father, and his Pakistani roots.

    http://www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/2009/04/aatish-salmaan-taseer-punjab-pakistan/

He in his youth time he stood against military rules in favour of Bhutto.
but he was among the one who had shaken hand with killers of bhutto for governorship.
My two cousins have almost same story like him once be activist and now strong icon of their community. They have reconciled as per system and doing successful careers in the same country where once they were trialed as law breaker and traitor too.So maturity of mind with the passage of time give you lot of clues to develop like strong civilian who at least have resistance power to stop the acts of oppressors.
No way I can think of advising any body to destroy state assets and gun against its own sons of soil. Not yet but since the time of creation majority of our bureaucrats and military men had come to more poorest and backward back grounds.our Photwar plateau or northern belts.
Where went wrong in their training is another lengthy discussion but no body stopped the way of progress of these men of deprived areas to raise like little giants of Pakistan.Baloch people were not rejected in this selection but no body allowed them to come and live like that .that is why its number is lesser as compare to other areas,Here blame goes to again your sardari system who beheld their people in their army and didn’t let them to join forces.
So in war between two elephant this issue is also critical and now our army is creating more cantonments and military colleges in Baluchistan to increase their strength in local areas after killing of Marri and Bugtis; heads.
    hope getting my point.

    • Nazia you are well aware of the purpose cantonments do serve. We have experienced the Quetta and Khuzdar cants.
Well the people in your examples were involved in revolts , and been tried , but what s our sin? We do not have access to power corridors , we are not in position to manipulate political and military power ? you are talking of your trust in judiciary , but what to do when your forces do not produce any abducted Baloch in any court of Law,as they do not trust in their own judicial system.
You are talking of sardari system then our vast Makran region has no any sardari system since long, you can manage to start your work from Makran .

      • Recently in army almost 400o bolch locals are recruited in Pak army and new military college in sibi would sooner produce military culture in your land too.
You know why that US want to handle Iran just like they did to Afghanistan and Kashmir people.
these men were either used to secure gwador ports where top ruling groups and US management get their desired objectives.
For handling Iran now army need local force of terrain who can replace RAGGI AND MARRI GROUP to counter shia-ism in the region.
So yourGen Shamim wyne has been recently given highest award of saudi govt to promote whabism in Pak army.So kindly give wakeup call to you sardars and political leaders whom sleeping beauty status is real reason of ignorance in your area.

  14. Yes Balochi society is not very accommodating for liberal urban characters of Pakistan specially ladies. In all over Pakistan it is Baluchistan only where narrow minded like culture never attracted me to go and discover its terrains.Even my elder ladies never thought of visitant, working there except its cantonment and nearby quetta areas.
The beautiful areas worth to be full of landscaping and adventures are under control of sardari system which have fluctuations in their moods so seeing their limits I never thought of discovering your areas which should have been in my access too .but this is all true as nothing like that is happening there.

  15. Well this game will once again prove to oppress Baloch nation at a greater level. Baloch liberal mindset is in danger , so this newly injected army culture will not serve our nation any more . Thanks for your wake up call , we are already fighting against this monster. as for as state shoe licking sardars and politicians are concerned Baloch never bother about them.

  16. i think the real problem of Pakistan today is injustice and alienation of its people from each other. one ethnicity thinks that other is hurting them and doing oppression. in fact the reality is ruling elite play their games and exploit this alienation to do their politics of fear and control. bugti was good when he served establishment but when he became too big for the liking , he was killed. he was good with all his crimes against people when he was with establishment, he suddenly became bad for his same crimes when he started to challenge the establishment.feudal lords are similar and represent a distorted form of old tribal culture. in pakistan tribal culture originally based on natural communities and eagalitarianism are polluted by feudalism. baloch are fighting against the problem of establishment rule but they ve left their greater enemy feudalism alone. these feudals when fed well by establishment work with them nicely but as soon as the establishment deprives of their share in wealth and power they start playing different cards. the depriviation of baloch people is a reality but the solution is not in the hands of these sardars or lords but in realizing the fact that they should form a society based on equality and justice. similar is the case with whole pakistan , bhatta mafias, feudal-corporatist political class, corrupt theocrats, liberal fascists all get benefits of thise fear and control politics backed by army and their foreign masters.
many people argue that this is due to foreign intervention but my say is we provide the grounds for these kinds of things.

jahan jalta tandoor khula ho wahan log rotia kion na pakaingai?

similar is the case within balochistan , its their feudal lords who ve served establishment so that establishment can provide support to them against baloch people and help them controlling the lives of people.

    • Thanks being here dear Faisal
Feudalism is really the biggest ever problem of our society , in Balochistan typical sardars are alive on the oxygen of establishment just. Balochs isolated them at all , you can see the parliamentarians attitude in recent assembly sessions. There are just two Brahamdagh Bugti and Hayr Biyar Marri who got an elite back ground , but got merged with middle class and are part of peoples struggle, so they are widely respected among the commoners.

      • its good that realization is coming. hopefully some better will come and some fair solutions to the problems will come no matter I or you agree fully with them or not.mutual existence can only prevail through accepting each other as a reality and resolving disputes on the bases of justice and equality. i hope someday we will learn this.

      • Well let see if there is still any hope , but I think hope went with the winds , and through genocides problem will lead to a solution defiantly .

  17. i think i left too many typos and mistakes :S
i hope they will not make it difficult to understand the point of view 😀
